HGV Class 1 Driver

Abstract Recruitment is looking for experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to support a well-established logistics operation in Northampton.

Various daytime and nighttime shifts are available, with opportunities for regular ongoing work.

Responsibilities:

• Completing scheduled deliveries and collections
• Carrying out vehicle safety checks
• Ensuring loads are transported securely
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately
• Communicating professionally with customers and site teams
• Complying with drivers’ hours and road-transport regulations

Requirements:

• Valid UK Category C+E driving licence
• Valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph card
• Previous Class 1 driving experience
• Good knowledge of drivers’ hours regulations
• Professional and safety-conscious approach

Hours: Days, nights and weekend shifts available
